Katie Hood

Katie’s previous professional experience was in materials science and engineering for large energy infrastructure projects in the UK and France. She is now developing new structural and civil engineering knowledge and skills through involvement in a range of new build and refurbishment projects of all shapes and sizes.

Katie spent the majority of 2022 on sabbatical, having won a place as one of that year’s intake of SPAB Scholars, a prestigious program giving scholars the opportunity to gain hands on experience of conservation and refurbishment projects of historic properties across the UK.
