Lily Erskine
Lily is an Associate Director working on the design of a range of structural and civil engineering projects after joining Narro in 2017.
She is chartered with the Institution of Structural Engineers and sits on the IStructE Committee for Scotland.
Lily is familiar with devising and overseeing diagnostic investigations and is particularly interested in existing structures and high-profile conservation projects. Her previous experience has given her a good understanding of historic and modern building forms and techniques. She has worked on many large complex projects that have required careful co-ordination between design team disciplines to achieve the project completion and the client’s aspiration. She is skilled in steering projects through challenges, keeping them on budget and ensuring that the visions of the clients are met. Her experience is largely with institutions servicing the high-quality arts, museum, performance and education buildings and transformation of existing buildings.
She regularly attends SPAB lectures and educational site visits to learn about the latest ideas in building conservation. Lily received her CARE accreditation in 2023.
Since 2025, Lily has also headed up our London studio.
