Ian Downie

He is experienced in the design of a variety of building structures to include museums, churches, bespoke housing and sculptures. Ian has a particular interest in projects involving new build construction behind retained facades. Prior to joining Narro in 2010 Ian had gained considerable experience in multi-storey steel frame design and had also spent a year in New Zealand working on seismic structural design and precast concrete construction.

Ian is full member of both the Institution of Structural Engineers and the Institution of Civil Engineers and is an Approved Certifier of design under the SER Structural Certification scheme.
