Ian Downie

Ian is a Chartered Structural and Civil Engineer, and a Director.
He has experience working within integrated multidisciplinary project teams and liaising with site management and package contractors on design and construction matters. He has been involved with refurbishments, alterations, and extensions to a wide variety of historic buildings and their surroundings.
He is a chartered engineer and a full member of both the Institution of Structural Engineers and the Institution of Civil Engineers. He is also a Certifier of Design (Building Structures) in accordance with the SER Certification scheme. Ian received his CARE accreditation in 2025.
