Garry Porch
Experienced in project management and contract administration, structural surveys, design of building structures in traditional materials, facade design, and cold formed steel construction.
Garry a Chartered Engineer and SER Approved Certifier of Design based in our Glasgow Office. He has experience of the design and appraisal of new, existing, and historic buildings along with infrastructure design in all sectors.
Garry has wide general buildings experience but more recently has been involved in the delivery of several high end design and build care homes, high end residential developments, and has been the civil and structural lead on a number of projects in the food and drinks industry.
Specialisms include project and contractual management, the design of structures in all materials, cladding design and structure surveys and investigations. He has been involved in both new builds and with refurbishments, alterations, and extensions to a wide variety of historic buildings and their surroundings.
He is also committee member for the Institution of Civil Engineers West of Scotland branch.
A Fellow of the ICE, Garry has been a Director of Narro since 2024.
