Andrew Brown

He joined Narro in 1992. Andrew has particular experience in major city centre commercial developments, housing and educational buildings. More recently, he has gained experience in arts, leisure and conservation related projects. He is a past Chairman of the Edinburgh Area Branch of the Institution of Civil Engineers, a past Vice Chairman of ICE East of Scotland Region and a past member of the Saltire Awards Panel for Civil Engineering. Andrew is an Approved Certifier of design under the SER Structural Certification scheme.

Andrew maintains strong links with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) and provides assistance in reviewing applications for the Chartered Professional Exam. He also acts as an invigilator for the Institution of Structural Engineers at the Edinburgh sitting of the Chartered Membership Exam. Andrew has a personal interest in the training and development of graduate engineers and technicians and is registered with ICE as a Supervising Civil Engineer. He has responsibility for Narro ICE Company Approved Training Scheme.
