This beautifully designed, single-storey garden room in Victoria Park Gardens South solves the issue by creating extended family and dining space. It also adds a generous kitchen and improves access to the garden, enhancing daily life and connection with the outdoors. The extension combines timber and steel framing with clerestory glazing, bi-fold doors, and a striking cantilevered roof. The project team formed new door openings through the rear elevation and internal walls, inserting lintels and reinforcing masonry where needed.
In addition to the extension, the team refurbished the existing property to modernise and personalise it for family living. They converted the garage into a home gym and study, while upgrading the entire house for comfort and style. Natural stone on the extension’s façade complements the original home’s high-quality, traditional materials, maintaining character while adding a modern touch.
