Project overview

The Wave in the Scottish Borders takes its name from it's unique roof profile.

Curved steel members were used to create the undulating roof with timber rafters spanning between. The building utilises a mixture of masonry and lightweight metal studwork to complete the structure along with extensive glazed elements. The masonry elements form retaining walls which help the building sit into the landscape without compromising floor area.
