Glasgow Cathedral Well

Using our expertise within conservation works and refined engineering we were involved in creating a bespoke lifting system that could be mounted within the crypt surrounded by historical artifacts and refining the final design of the well ensuring the final piece left minimal impact on the original historic stone.

The end result is a mesmeric visual, echoing the colours of the cathedral’s stained-glass windows while honouring the well’s symbolic role as a source of life, hope and healing. Built using cutting-edge aerospace technology, to ensure its durability for centuries to come, it will be the first mosaic of its kind installed within a historic well.
