Home / Easter Breakachy (Shepherd’s Cottage)
The link has Douglas fir frames, giving the kitchen dining area an airy, open feeling. The natural palette of materials chosen for the building blends well into the hillside.
The large window openings are placed to make the most of the views to the north, east and west. Various ecologically sound options were adopted including a ground source heat pump, evacuated tube solar panels for hot water and hemp insulation. The timber cladding was locally sourced, as was the flooring and the stone for the new gable.
We have 6 offices across the UK. We are here to support our clients wherever they need us.
