Carpenter’s House

There were only three structures holding up the main roof in the house’s dilapidated state. The level of disrepair required the removal of the whole structure, including the first floor, and rebuilding almost everything. Careful work was required to facilitate changes to this 17th century listed property.

The client’s vision was to transform the outbuildings, remove an unsightly 1970s extension and form a new addition. The new contemporary extension is full of natural light and helps connect the house to the walled garden. The major restoration transformed the existing building into an inviting, beautiful home for a growing family.
